Introduction

Tue Apr 28, 2009, 9:38 PM
An ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by a crane, such as long life or recovery from illness or injury. The crane in Japan is one of the mystical or holy beasts (others include the dragon and tortoise), and is said to live for a thousand years. In Asia, it is commonly said that by folding 1000 paper origami cranes makes a person's wish come true. This makes them popular gifts for special friends and family.

This is taken from the horridly unreliable world of Wikipedia, but this has the same message I was looking for.

I had this idea, which I kinda developed over a couple of days to create a project.
Not an individual project, but a group one.

This is what I want to do.
I keep thinking that there isn't enough love in the world or on DA.
There seems to be a lot of sadness and hate going about along with joy.
So what this project aims to do is give a bit back, by artists submitting a work (or a few) that is sending out a message to everyone.
It could be a photograph, or a sketch or a drawing or whatever.

This is just kind of an introduction to see who'd be interested.
I'd be happy with ten people.
It would be phenomenal to get 50 people.
I'd probably drop dead.

If you'd be listed with a link to your work.

Note or comment if you're interested <3

Sending out love to all,
Rev

PS:
Oh, It's kinda like the idea of 'Free Hugs'
if you don't know what that is, Youtube it XD
